He just rolls Need so he can guarantee he'll get whatever he wants. The guy clearly doesn't care about the system. Was I wrong to react this way? It just seems wrong when a (loot?) ninja has to remind a tank the responsible way to roll for loot and to not abuse the system for his own greed and ego. I decided to just leave the duty and endure the 30 minute penalty, rather than be a ♥♥♥♥ and Vote Abandon or harass others in the run and make them vote kick me so I could get out of the duty AND not incur a 30 minute blackout. I sure as hell didn't want to help him clear the run so he could get more items and consequently those darned super important grand company seals. The ensuing argument over appropriate Need and Greeding caused friction and I knew we weren't going to have a pleasant run through the rest of the place. If I wanted it that bad, it was practically free on the market board. I rolled greed because I didn't desperately need the minion. I didn't have the minion and wanted it, but I knew I should roll greed, not need. I told him that's not how Need or Greed works. He said he rolled Need on the helm for grand company seals. His words were "I've done this place enough times not to roll Need." I'm barely para-phrasing here. He rolled Need on both the minion and a helmet. Until two items came from treasure chests and the tank got around to rolling. I got a tank from Exodus and the run seemed fun at first. I just did Aurum Vale because I was going for the Morbol CARD for Triple Triad.
